Museum Disasters: Who Are You Going to Call?
The North Texas Association for Art Conservation and the Dallas Museum of Art are sponsoring a lecture by Amigos Imaging and Preservation Service Manager, Gina L.B. Minks. The May 21 lecture will cover disaster recovery and who to call once a disaster has occurred. Whether the disaster is the result of a pipe leaking, damage caused by fire or even a tornado, this 30 minute talk will focus on assistance offered to local as well as national museums and their staff.
