Plotting Futures is the theme of the 2012 Amigos Member Conference. Over two days, May 9-10, the conference program will challenge us to think widely and wildly about what the future holds. Keynote speaker, Warren Evans will set the stage with a futurist view of the world around us and the emerging trends interacting to influence the further unfolding and events and trends. Closing speaker Kara J. Malenfant, Senior Strategist for Special Initiatives, Association of College and Research Libraries, will provide a method for using the myriad divergent and convergent possibilities futures scenarios to manage change and create a path of opportunity for libraries.
