CAMP CHAMPS™ SIGNS PARTNERSHIP WITH SOUTHERN CONFERENCE
COMPANY WILL GAIN MARKETING BENEFITS, ENDOW SCHOLARSHIPS

Greenville, South Carolina-based Camp Champs, LLC, a sports camp promotion, online registration, and marketing firm, has signed a three-year agreement with the Southern Conference to be the Conference's preferred partner for sports camp technology and marketing solutions.
 Under the terms of the contract, the Southern Conference will market Camp Champs' products and services, centering around its web-based camp marketing and online registration solutions, to coaches at its 12 member institutions in Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee. The Conference will provide e-mail and direct mail support for Camp Champs, while also providing Camp Champs with the opportunity to market directly to coaches at central meetings and tournaments.
Camp Champs will donate a percentage of net revenues derived from business conducted with coaches at Southern Conference member institutions to endow two scholarships that will be awarded annually to outstanding student-athletes continuing to graduate school. The first two Camp Champs-endowed scholarships will be awarded next month at the Conference's annual Honors Dinner in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
"Camp Champs offers many obvious benefits to the coaches at our member institutions, and we're pleased to share word about what the company has to offer," says Southern Conference Commissioner John Iamarino. "Their business model clearly reflects their hands-on experience in collegiate athletics, and we believe our coaches will be very interested in what they have to offer.
"They also have a clear interest in benefiting the student-athletes of our conference, as demonstrated through their commitment to endowing two scholarships."
