Shout out to the Lavish Lyfe kicking off their "Level Saturdays" party series at Club Petrus. They had a good response and shouts to JC White and "Sam" coming though and doing their thing. This Saturday is the Leo Zodiac Birthday Bash so make sure you get there!!! It's been a couple of weeks since the last newsletter but between parties, school and travel I manage to do the Kappa's and AKA's "Diamond Affair," my monthly First Friday's duties(shouts to Ramone) and the Russ Buss Tour which was a success! Check out the picture below! I know last time everyone was sweating like a runaway slave but don't worry........the air-conditioning is WORKING!!! My big homie Maestro J will be downstairs with the funky soulful sounds accompanied with live band and myself(DJ Q) will be upstairs playing all the latest hip-hop, r&b, reggae, dance classics and more! Well before I get outta here, I just had a update on the Ozone Awards that took place in Houston, Tx. that I didn't go to and it seems as though I didn't miss much except a few fights! One altercation "alledgedlly" took place with DJ Vlad and Rick Ross's entourage over Vlad's journalistist views on the Rick Ross correctional officer issue! Wow! Well you know correctional officers normally do sit back and watch the criminals fight it out! Haha! Apparently, the other big fight/altercation took place between Mike Jones and another Houston artist named Trae The Truth! No one seems to know why the two got into it but it ended up with Mike Jones getting punched in the face and in his defense he says...."I made history and put swangers on the Bentley Coupe!"
