 Fresh off the plane from LAX.....I'm back to deliver you newsletter #4 and a few pics from my travels the last few weeks.........whew! I hope all is good for everyone reading this newsletter and if not my prayers go out to you. First off, let me tell you, LA was hot as hell! 100 degrees and $5.70 p/gallon gas is enough to make you not go but trust me....it's LA, you're gonna have fun and the celebs were out everywhere for BET Awards weekend!! I know BET Awards was a couple of weeks ago but I'm still feeling the effects of that weekend! I ran into crazy celebrities like Yung Berg, T.I., Suge Knight(you know what I wanted to ask but didn't......lol) and even some people from the "KY" Jermaine Higgins, Nappy Roots, YV, Lil D and more! The Ciroc Bad Boy party was off the chain! DJ'ed by non-other than the Heavy Hitters: DJ Enuff, DJ Felli Fel & DJ E-Feezy! I managed to get a few shout outs in the midst of so much celebrity fanfare but gettin' your named dropped at a Diddy party is promotion you can't buy!!! Shout out to Bad Boy's "Hen Roc" & "Hatian," Court Digga was missing in action but shouts to him too!! DJ S&S was killin' the dancefloor!!! The crowd was shoulder to shoulder and there were too many celebrities to name! This was just one of the BET Afterpartys in Hollywood! Shout out to DJ Backside and DJ Crisco Kid spinning @ Club Ivar tearing it down and the people the came out to see me spin @ Social Hollywood(Happy Birthday Mari). Congratulations to Static Major who won a ASCAP award for Pretty Ricky's "On The Hotline" this weekend in LA and to his wife who received the reward in his honor!!! A special "F....... Lil Wayne since he didn't show Static Major any love on the acceptance of his award in L.A. However, he did manage to shout him out during his "Lollipop" performance during the awards but I'm sorry Mr. "Weezy F..Baby" it wasn't good enough for a man of Static's acclaim to not even be mentioned for a song he GAVE you!!!! Any way, R.I.P. Static Major! Gone but never forgotten!!! To all the people that show love and give me DJ "Q" and Sluggah Entertainment support, it is NEVER taken for granted and I want to say, "Thank You!"
