Reed Painting

Whether its painting a project you found on Pinterest or an entire room, Reed Painting will have some tips for you on how to reduce your paint - and water - waste!

The energy efficiency experts from SustainableWorks will focus on reducing waste when it comes to home energy use, give you some take-home energy-saving tips.

Register Now!

SustainableWorks, a non-profit contractor, will also discuss the City of Seattle's Community Power Works program.  They are providing all attendees with energy saving CFL lightbulbs, an energy efficiency check-list that can be used to conduct a mini-home energy assessment, and information on how to access deeper energy retrofits and solar alternatives.

In addition to a live paint demonstration, Reed Painting, the winner of Sustainable Seattle's 2011 Innovator in Sustainability Award, will discuss their innovative Green Man Paint Program, which recycles your donated paint, participates in responsible disposal, and donates quality recycled paint to Seattle's community projects.

At the end of the night, you will walk away with a free quart of Reed's recycled paint to try out some of the painting tips you learned!

Don't miss out on this great opportunity to ensure your paint and energy use are at their most sustainable!   If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Hannah.
