K-12 Civics in Action!
Watch the conventions with your kids! K-12 students have a great opportunity to learn and experience government, democracy and leadership. Those were comments from 3 of the over 100 high school students who learned they will have the opportunity to attend the convention on September 6 and see the President deliver the acceptance speech.

Youth Voice Leadership Alliance, and represent 25 area high schools. As part of the non-partisan educational project, teens are asked to watch, analyze and report on the televised acceptance speech by Republican Party nominee Mitt Romney, and live speech by Democratic Party nominee President Barack Obama. Photos and reports will be shared on the web. Be a citizen journalist!
 Youth are attending - and reporting on - convention activities through September 6. Some will receive press passes to see the convention behind the scenes. Others will attend forums with media and political leaders. Reports will be posted on the GenerationNation website and social media.
