The NZ Pacific Salsa Congress is the biggest Latin Dance Event in New Zealand. Some of the best Latin dance instructors and dancers from around the world and New Zealand will come together in Wellington for 3 days and nights of exciting parties, workshops and world class shows.

PLEASE NOTE: No Friday Night Salsa! this Friday 03 June and No salsa classes Monday 06 and 07 June. All classes resume as per normal Wednesday 08.

FAQ: Is a Salsa Congress a competition? No, to keep it short - its like a convention or exhibition where salsa dance enthusiasts, instructors and schools (from many parts of the world) gather for a full weekend of learning, sharing and displaying what they do and how the do anything and everything that falls under the category of Salsa or "street Latin".

This course is for Beginners who have completed Level 1 (Beginners Salsa) and feel they are ready to move on. In this course you will explore how you can change the look of the basics you have learned in Level 1 without changing your basic steps.

Towards the end of the course we start touching on the next level - Improvers.

8wk Latin Mix course!

While Salsa dancing is covered in a separate course due to its huge popularty and extensive repertoire, the "8wk Street Latin Mix Course" will introduce you to the next 3 most popular styles -  Bachata,  Cha Cha,  Zouk.

You will learn simple, effective and appropriate techniques, partnerwork and timing in a structured and comprehensive way.

By the end of the course you will have enough repertoire to step out on the dance floor and have lots of fun!
