 Gian & Masha are back from judging and performing at the Queensland State Salsa Titles. It was inspiring to see and judge the competition in Brisbane. Professional Salsa dancers Roberto Paul and Jenna Lindenberg were the overall winners with the highest scoring points for the evening. This weekend Gian is off to judge the South Island Salsa Competition in Christchurch, while Masha will be in Auckland rehearsing with TEAM Latinissimo dancers for the upcoming NZ Salsa Nationals. TEAM Latinissimo Auditions is coming up later in October to recruit members for National, International and Local performances and competition opportunities! 22-25 Oct (Labour Weekend)
Join TEAM Latinissimo for the 4th Annual Bay Salsa Festival in Tauranga on Labour Weekend (22-25 October). A 2 day 3 night
extravaganza featuring workshops, 2 parties, a showcase and a Grand Ball.
Proceeds from this event are distributed to groups and individals travelling to represent NZ on the world salsa stage.

There a new dance competition coming to Auckland! The Kiwi Classic Dance Championships will see couples competing in Dancesport, Salsa, Ceroc, Argentine Tango and Rock n' Roll. Also, there will be a Team division for formation teams of any style! Salsa, Zouk, Bachata teams out there - get ready, here is a goal to achieve! The Championships will be held at the beautiful Langham Hotel in the Auckland CBD. Organized by Wendy Johnson (USA), Candy Lane (NZ) and Kingsley Gainsford (NZ). Full details coming soon!
