The World Salsa Championships is no more. The event organizer ran 4 championships, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2009. 2008 was cancelled due to a very tough financial year for the US organizers. The World Salsa Championships has now been replaced.

 

I am happy to see that it has been replaced! Don't get me wrong - its all for the good!I Just surprised it took so long...
