Greetings!
 HAPPY NEW YEAR to you ALL!! Wow, 2010 is going to be a very exciting year @ Latinissimo! But first up is the Sydney Salsa Congress. TEAM Latinissimo students are currently in full training and getting ready to represent Auckland at the end of the month at this amazing event! Also, new auditions for TWO (2) brand NEW TEAM Latinissimo choreographies (Latinissimo PERFORMANCE team & Latinissimo COMPETITION team) will be taking place on Saturday 23 January!A new 8wk Beginners "fast track" Salsa course will be starting in February and the usual Intermediate salsa classes @ Mecca Stone House in Mission Bay continue throughout summer as per normal. But that's not all! The SalsaDance.co.nz website is currently being completely re-constructed  and will be up and running soon. In the mean time, please visit http://www.latinissimo.co.nz for any information needed. Plus... 2 new DVDs are in production! And this is only the beginning of the year! Swing dance superstars
- Benji Schwimmer & Kellese Key coming "DownUnder"!
Some bitter, but sweet news for Swing dancers down under...
Jordan Frisbee & Tatiana Mollman were scheduled to hold workshops and perform at a very special Swing dance called "Best of the Best III" in Australia. They were also scheduled for the Sydney Salsa Congress.
Unfortunately Jordan suffered a severe knee injury which required emergency surgery and they were forced to cancel their attendance.
However, the event organizers managed to secure Benji Schwimmer & Kellese Key who are the Current US Open Swing Dance Showcase Winners. For those of you who may not know, Benji was voted America's favourite dancer when he won season 2 of "So You Think You Can Dance". Rumor has it that Benji and Kellese will also replace Jordan and Tatianas workshops and performances at the Sydney Salsa Congress...

4th World Salsa Championships results!
After a few "bumps" and a few mishaps along the way... the organizers managed to pull it all together and the 4th edition of the Salsa Seven World Salsa Championships took place in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, USA, December 16-19, 2009.
