Greetings!
Fall is here and the leaves are changing. It brings to mind a lot of initiatives that were supposed to begin over the past year- tele-working, green initiatives, saving money on expenses...We are entering the 4th Quarter- there's still time!!

Did you know that implementing a teleworking program is like giving out a $8400 raise to each employee???
|
|
According to a study published by the Telework Coalition (TELCOA) implementing a telecommuting/tele-working program for employees, reduced expenses in commuting costs, food costs, and wardrobe costs are an indirect pay raise of $8400 per employee - REGARDLESS OF SALARY LEVEL. If you couple that with increases in productivity, reduced over head expenses and greater employee job satisfaction- you have the makings of a plan.

Can the federal government convince you to get a new telecom solution this year?

For the record, I am rabidly apolitical. I don't like politics, don't talk about politics and do not follow politics. But... according to the SBA website, "On Sept. 27, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Small Business Jobs Act, the most significant piece of small business legislation in over a decade. The new law is providing critical resources to help small businesses continue to drive economic recovery and create jobs. The new law extended the successful SBA enhanced loan provisions while offering billions more in lending support, tax cuts, and other opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners."
What does this mean for you? I am not an accountant- and never have played one on TV.
According to the same government website"...The law extended 50% bonus depreciation through 2010; however, the new Tax Relief Act of 2010 further extends and expands this to 100% of any productive capital investments in 2011."
This means that if you are considering getting a making a new telecommunications investment, now is the time!
Check it out for yourself!
