Greetings!
Happy New Year to all of our dear ones.
It is New Year's Eve as I am writing this, and I sit reflecting on this past year. What comes to me first is a warm glowing essence of gratitude and appreciation for having met you, shared yoga and the beauty of the divine in nature with you. Thank you, two small words that hold such magic in them as they touch my heart and honor you.
Next I feel the powerful releasing of completion, as I reflect on this past year. In so many ways I understand and allow the powerful nature of letting go. It feels like a whispy energy, like smoke tendrils, as the events, experiences and lessons of 2010 waft away.
Then I notice the thrill of anticipation as I feel the birthing of new in the blank slate of this new year to come. Joy is bouncing within with the pureness of this unknown. I can feel the vibrations of the beginning of many opportunities to be present, to honor life, and celebrate the divine.
Don and I look forward to sharing new experiences, dreams, lessons and simple moments with you as we sit in the bosom of Mother Earth each morning. Rise, shine and breath. See you on the beach in 2011!
WHAT'S HAPPENING?... We are so happy to be part of the 36 hours in Key West article (and video). The article will be in Sunday January 9's travel section, but you can see it online now. Take a moment if you can to review Yoga on the Beach while you are there, share your experience with others. Like to Chant? Come join us in voice and spirit on the 3rd Monday of the month from 7-9. This month we meet on Jan 17.
Yoga And...Brunch we had a divine time at December's Yoga and...Brunch. Thank you for all of you who came, and brought such yummy goodies.
There is something very special about gathering in community to share yoga and break bread. On the beach it becomes an offering to the divine!
Come join us this month, Sunday January 16, 2011, as we chant through our postures, offering sound to the practice.
We meet on the 3rd Sunday offering a special yoga class, and then a potluck brunch. Come join us for class at 8:15 and stay afterward to enjoy breaking bread, and other goodies with us. Bring a little dish to share. We'll provide drinks and the setup, and Nancy's famous frittata.

Light, Love and Deep Appreciation, Nancy and Don

Well Being with a Boo Boo

Last week I had a little accident on my bike. I give great thanks for my yoga practice, as I slammed down on the pavement with my elbow jamming into my ribcage. My first response was to find my breath and breathe through the pain, and there was some great pain. It took a few moments of focus, and intention, to find a full breath but when I did I felt the pain lessen. With the help of my friend I found my legs, and got back up.
