Yoga on the Beach offers yoga classes on a scholarship basis for anyone who needs some financial support. 
 
If you  would like to join us for classes on the beach contact Nancy or Don.    
 
If you would like to donate a class or classes from your "block" of classes to the scholarship fund, we thank you in advance.  
 
 
Together we become one and make a difference. 
 

Greetings! 

Here it is the end of August with lots of transitions happening for everybody.  The seasons begin to change, while work and family schedules are shifting for many.  Don and I begin to prepare for another change of venue, ending one season and beginning another.   We have a lot going on to share with you, so here goes.
 
We will be having classes Sat, SUNDAY and Monday Labor Day weekend.  Yes that is right Sunday too.  Our end of the season party is after class on Sunday so please do come.  We'd love to have you enjoy a little social time and great food after class.

Starting next week, classes will be Yin Yoga on Wed. at 6:00 PM and Yoga for Every Body Sat. at 8:00 AM through Oct 11. 

Global Mala Project II -

Calling all Yoga on the Beach students! 
This year we are joining in with the Worldwide Global Mala Project to raise awareness and money towards Peace.  Don and I have chosen the Carter Center as the charity this year.  We raised almost $1000.00 last year.  Let's double it this year!
 
You can participate from anywhere, so please consider joining in with us as we raise awareness and money to spread Peace throughout the world.  Check out the weblink.

 Key West Classes

It's officical, Key West classes will be kicking off November 10th.  We are returning to the beautiful Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park, to share our yoga teachings under the pines, along the sea.

Living Appreciation

You hear it in most every class with us at Yoga on the Beach. "On your next inhalation breathe into your heart, and exhale out of your heart.  Make the connection between your heart and your mind through the breath."  Don and I offer you this time to connect to living through the heart/mind connection.
 
We can often get into the habit of being so segmented, so detached, so alone in the world; then in a single breath we connect.  The mind is focused on the breath, the breath is connecting to the heart, and the heart sends a signal (a pulse) out that offers us connection.  Alignment.
 
What is it that we are offering to you when we give you the moment of connecting to your heart?  The gifts of this moment of unity are vast.  From the heart we come to know love, care, appreciation, joy, acceptance, forgiveness, compassion, patience, to name a few.  They are all powerful energies that lighten our spirit and free our souls.
 
One of the easiest of the energies to access is appreciation.  The power of this energy is transformational, for when we begin to appreciate anything, the value of it, and our own feelings is uplifted.  It only takes one breath to make the connection and intention to access appreciation.  Then allow yourself some time to let appreciation grow in you. 
 
Each morning begin your day by setting a tone of appreciation.  Look around, feel inside and breathe into your heart, awakening a sense of appreciation.  Set that tone, and then check in during the day.  Refresh it whenever you need it. With a few breaths you can give yourself a "spritzer" of appreciation.  Watch how things begin to change. 
 
Raise the value of your day.
