The schedule is set! The program is a 200 hour program, and will consist of one day per week (8 hours) for 8 weeks, 4 weekend workshops, plus outside classroom assignments.

THE PHYSICAL BODY
July 12 & 13 
 
Want to learn more about the body or expand your knowledge of the inner workings of the systems of the body?  This workshop offers a holistic teaching of the physical body from the yogic viewpoint.  From breath anatomy, to the connections of the structure and soft tissue of the body this workshops offers an interactive experience for yoga instructors, students, bodyworkers and fitness instructors.

 June 20th ushers in the first day of summer, a time of solstice and solace for all of the sunlight worshippers.  I love the long days of sunlight at this time of year, the freshness in the air, and the sense of play that still lingers from summers off from school days.
 
If you are looking for opportunities to play and learn with us this summer we have a variety of options.

Shake it up with Non-Judgment

Who is responsible?
 
Go ahead ask yourself this question and watch the fallout of your answers.  If it is anything other than I AM, than you have set quite a trap for others, and the "metal" of your trap is judgment. 
 
What is she talking about you may be asking, so I'll will try to be clear here.  Let's use an example.  You are feeling upset about a friendship you are in, you are upset that they haven't called in a while.  Go ahead, ask yourself, who is responsible?  Oh, you say, they are.  They do not call me (when I want them to, or expect them to.)  Well time to look in the mirror!
Who is feeling upset?   You are.
Who is holding the barometer of expectation?  You are.
Who is in judgment?  You are.
 
BUT, you scream that is what a relationship is all about and then you list all of the rules, or conditions, or expectations you live by regarding relationships.  Often these conditions are your own agenda, and even secret ones you never speak of directly. 
 
Let's be real for a moment, have you noticed that anytime you have these pre-conditions, rules, or agendas YOU are the one that has the ride on the emotional roller coaster more often than anyone else?
 
I am offering you this opportunity for AWAKENING.  Shake it up!  I'm talking about your perceptions.  You are not alone, as a matter of fact you are in fine company for there are a lot of people who are living in judgment, and are quite content with their misery, thank you very much.  But if you are starting to notice your own suffering, unhappiness, discomfort (whatever you call it) and want to make a change here it is.
 
Start taking responsibility for your own happiness.  Begin by letting go of preconceived expectations of others.  Try opening your heart to a place of understanding, and open to letting go of those thoughts or beliefs that hold you prisoner to the emotions of anger, resentment.  Open to those that make you feel good and I don't mean "miserably good".  I am talking happy good!


For some it is a big dose of love, for others compassion.  Gratitude and appreciation can be HUGE stepping stones for many, that will help them make the leap into joy and happiness.  When your mind is humming the tune of gratitude the "vibes" are sweet with harmony. 
 
So go ahead, shake it up.  Start today living the life of non-judgment.
