Hello to all of Starfish's friends. My name is Patrick McLaughlin and I am President of the Board of Directors for Starfish. We want you to know that Amanda is currently in a hospital in Xi'an undergoing some tests and will be temporarily unable to respond to any Facebook and email communication She is in good medical care and will return to Starfish as soon as she is able. Meanwhile, the babies at Starfish are receiving continuing, excellent care under the skilled hands of the Starfish staff and many volunteers. Operations of Starfish are continuing without interruption, and volunteers and visitors are welcome to come.
I know each one of you has a passion for the work Amanda does on behalf of the orphans of Xi'an. I also know that each one of you is asking yourself, "What can I do? How can I help?"
First, I would ask that you keep Amanda top of mind in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days.
