Okay folks, I'm playing with fish again. I just love making them! Anyway, this guy is the state fish of Hawaii and I couldn't resist. They're just so pretty. He is about 18.25" long and 10.75" tall. He'll spark up any day. I've put lots of sparkly dichroic glass in the face area and really played up the details. This could be a bad addiction. The latest finned friend from my fishy wonderland to yours!

FRESH CAUGHT FRIDAY newsletter...
Hi Everyone!
So, we made it through another week and now it's time to enjoy Fresh Caught FRIDAY! Yay!
Okay, so here in Portland, and environs, this week marks the 50th anniversary of "The Big Blow"...no, not what you're thinking...this was the big Cat 3 storm called the Columbus Day Storm. I was a mere child of 2 and I still remember flashes of memory, like my father's car being crushed by a falling tree and plum trees (we lived on a plum farm) all falling over, and the horse running away. It was a huge disaster in the area and people my age kind of mark time by that storm. But, what I didn't realize until recently, is that something quite spectacular happened during that storm that has been "covered up" by media, etc. A few brave souls will talk about it with friends, but that's about it. Well, apparently a Big Foot was killed by a falling tree and several people actually took pictures of it and had to remove it from a logging area! I KNEW they really existed! I really need to join a Big Foot club or something, to get my fix on a regular basis, of Big Foot stuff. Check out this video. (sorry, no pics of the Big Foot :[ ) ...drats, I know...

And, speaking of big feet, in Key West, they're gearing up for the 1st Annual Adopt-a-Bull & Open House Event" at the SPCA. It's October 7, from 11-3. We gotta take care of our furry friends, no matter what, so check 'em out if you're in the area!
AND, BIG NEWS!!!! for everyone traveling to Key West, I'm gonna be showing my work in the Pop-Up store for 7-Artists, located at 604 Duval Street starting next Friday! I'll be sending boxes and boxes of all sorts of fishes, dishes and fun things. I'm very excited about this because I SO love 7-Artists Gallery!

Salt 'n Peppa... 
Pepper is slow to warm up to people, yet he's a charming dog who is searching for patient owners with a calm environment with enough patience to guide him and help him settle into his new home. Pepper is looking for a home that has previous dog experience. He likes to play with toys, especially a tennis ball. He does not like her teeth looked at, nor does he like fast movements, so he needs owners to respect that and should live with older kids only. Pepper likes going in cars and hanging out with his people. Pepper needs to be the only dog in the home and a training consult is included prior to his adoption.
