Farewell to another year...
Hard to believe another year has come and gone so quickly, but what an incredible year it has been. I'm so grateful for all the blessings that have been bestowed on me this year, not the least of which has been the enduring support of my fans, friends and family as I've ventured into new musical territory. I look to 2010 with a hopeful heart and an open mind.
Here are a few highlights from a fruitful year:
- Performing alongside Jon English in 'Buskers & Angels' at the Civic Playhouse, Newcastle. Read a review here.
- Playing to audiences on the other side of the world in Vancouver and Toronto.
- Attending South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.
- Recording and launching the new EP with producer Gareth Hudson and a slew of incredible musicians. Buy the new EP here.
- My southbound tours in July and September extending as far as Melbourne and Adelaide.
- Being honoured with a few awards, including the ABC Publishing/APRA Songwriters Recognition Award. Read about it on the ABC website.
- Signing up to new management with the lovely ladies at Pixie Music. Visit their website.
Special thanks to everyone who has supported me this year and all the all the amazing artists that I've shared many a stage with, including: Mike McCarthy, Bob Corbett, Renny Field, Adalita, Maxine Kauter, Jason Lowe, Sarakula, The Falls, Mike Rosenberg, Christine Anu and many more.
A festive gift for my friends and fans
