Jobs in New England (and beyond)

Education and Outreach Director for Encyclopedia of Life Project The Encyclopedia of Life (EOL) is an ambitious project to organize and make available via the Internet virtually all information about life present on Earth, and it offers a unique platform for formal and informal education about biodiversity and for citizen science.  Education and outreach (E&O) is one of the principal components of the EOL initiative. Its overall goal is not only to insure widespread awareness of the EOL, but also to explore and promote new and exciting uses of this extraordinary resource in diverse settings. The initial focus will be citizen science, and marine life is one of the top priorities. As a new venture, the E&O effort requires a Group Leader with dedication, imagination, flexibility, creativity, and a strong entrepreneurial drive. For full description visit online.
