Donor Spotlight 

~ A Note from Tony Narducci ~

Greetings!                                                                             June 2011                                                                                                                               

I had the privilege of meeting Tony Narducci and his lovely wife, Melanie, in July of 1996,  through Christy-Knoll Shannon.  This was after he had begun supporting Treasured Celebrations (T/C).  Christy, who is one of our fabulous facilitators, shared her passion for T/C with him. Tony has become one of the strongest supporters of Treasured Celebrations today.  

In getting to know Tony, I have discovered that his life as a father and businessman has led him to leave a godly legacy that is already evident throughout his family and business colleagues.  For example, his son, Joseph, is one of the directors and producers for the nationally known ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah. 

Tony has also blessed T/C with wisdom  and practical insights; enabling our Board to grasp the steps that need to be taken in this season of growth and set up important guidelines as we expand our  Board of Directors.

Let me share with you what his contributions have enabled us to do:

• Grant more than 20 scholarships for girls desiring to participate in the program when funds were not available through their families.  
• His professional insight and seeing the value to equip leadership led to him providing support for me, as the founder, to attend several highly valuable training conferences.
• Last but not least, his generosity has undergirded the operational funds needed to carry out the day to day tasks of TC.

I'd love for you to read a personal note from Tony:

 "I was told by a spiritual mentor once that God's purpose in life for me is to make a difference and that His mission for me is to do this through the empowerment of children and youth. That resonated for me and lead me to found Fit For Living in 1996. This non-profit was a fitness program designed for at-risk youth in San Francisco that was delivered as the physical education class in a public school, at community youth centers in at-risk neighborhoods in the city and as a component of the Walden House Adolescent Drug Rehabilitation Program. It focused on developing self discipline as an important life 

skill and was delivered to over 2000 children and youth 

in its 10 years of operation.

T/C fits in with my service to God.  It is such a powerful enabling process for reaching and affecting the emotional and spiritual lives of these young girls. This is also life impacting for the fathers and father figures that have been there to deliver the blessing. No matter which way you examine T/C you see God's hand at work.

I believe T/C is yet another door God had opened for me to live out God's purpose in my life and to fulfill 

His mission for me."

Top Three Goals for 2011

1) We want to proclaim Wednesday, October 19, 2011 Save Our Girls Day  

Our goal is to provide greater visibility of our ministry across the nation on that day and train our alumni to be true ambassadors for Christ.  In order to do so, we must have the monies to cover our projected promotional costs (i.e. sending out press releases, mass postcard mailings, designing T-Shirts, etc. ) so our alumni and new leaders can raise funds in their local communities.  We are suggesting Princess Kick-off Parties, Princess Runs, and other similar events that will encourage new teen girls to attend a future MDP program.  Total Cost $3,000

2) Update the BMDP Promotional DVD      

Total cost:  $1500  

Used by leaders all over the US and internationally to introduce the girl's program in their communities

3) Promote the new study for women, titled "Still His Princess ~ Becoming the 

Bride," purposed for women of all ages (18 & beyond) to discover or re-affirm their God ordained purpose and destiny.

 "Close friends of mine were touched by the whole celebration, most of us with father issues. We realized how our lives and the decisions we have made would be different if we had a program like this.  How many hurts would have been healed and how much stronger as woman we would have been"   ~ Vicky V.

"It was wonderful to discover my God-given personality traits.  I am now going to be the president of the employee's association at work.  I would have not had the courage to do this otherwise." ~ Margie M.

We are praying that women leaders will rise up like they have for the Modern Day Princess program.  Therefore, we would like to make the training affordable.  A scholarship for a new leader is $150 or $1,200 for a group of 10.  Our goal, a Still His Princess leader in every state in our nation!  We short by 2 states to reach that goal with our MDP as of last month!     Total Promotional Costs $1,000.
