Treasured Celebrations 
Nothing thrills my heart more than hearing how God has been at work!  

 

Over the years I have seen how He loves to wait for the most opportune time to  surprise us with  fabulous news! That is exactly what happened to me Monday night! 

I was at our church women's board meeting and just before leaving the building Karen Baltzley handed me a newspaper article that was circled and said,"Have you seen this?"  As I began to read I couldn't believe it!  Why? Because I thought that our inability to reach the woman who was going to lead this class (Ms. Wilson in the article) meant that the group never got off the ground.  

 

To my surprise it had been implemented last Fall

"Wilson said she knew the program was a success when the principal said she saw a noticeable change in the girls' attitudes and behaviors, which the principal attributed to both the program and the girls' maturing during the classes."

I'D LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS MY  NEED FOR PRAYER
 
At a recent board meeting for this ministry, I asked that we begin praying about a program designed to raise a portion of our monthly budget from people that have been blessed by Becoming a Modern Day Princess and would like to help us reach several of our goals:  To embrace a wider circle of girls (especially those at risk),  women who desire to become facilitators and families who are in need of reconciliation. 
 
I need your help with this daunting, but necessary task.  
 
Would you be willing to help me pray for guidance and a plan?  If your answer is yes,

I am thankful for the people that have already given gifts to the ministry. They (some of YOU!) have helped to ease the weight of the monthly pressure to make ministry ends meet.  
 
I have never been good at asking for money, so I really need the Lord's guidance as we step into a new phase of ministry growth.
