New Client, New Website |
JS Media has had the pleasure of working this year with new client writer/producer Jill Gambaro and her independent production company Reflection Media, Inc. JS Media has been doing public relations and business development with the company and also, in close collaboration with RMI, created their new website.
Designed by JS Media's brilliant website designer Manon Ghiurco of Romania, we produced the website and wrote the content, including all the downloadable PDF format promotional materials. See: www.reflectionmedia.com |

| Small Charities, Big Help |
I am instituting this new section of the Newsletter called "Small Charities, Big Help" to let you know about some great little organizations who are small but mighty. I don't have large sums of money to give or even a lot of free time on my hands, but I thought I could at least volunteer a little space on my newsletter and some free PR. Whatever you can do for these folks would be much appreciated.
St. Bernard Project
Chalmette, LA 70043 (504) 277-6831
www.stbernardproject.org
Katrina. Houses. You know what comes next. These folks are showing up and actually refurbishing people's devastated houses in St. Bernard's Parish. Houses renovated and beautiful, people moving back into them. What's not to like? Go there, paint or something. Money helps, too.
Nothing But Nets
I read about this organization in The New York Times. It's so easy and takes so little. Buy one $10 mosquito net, save one child from dying of Malaria in Africa. So many ways to get involved here. Go to the website and see. The UN has been fighting this battle for years. One person came along and wrote an article and a mission bloomed.
Send me your favorite small charities, for some free plugs! | |

JS Media Travels to Traverse City, Michigan |
|
|
JS travels to the northwest coast of Michigan this month with client and writer/producer Jill Gambaro.
Black and White is a West Side Story meets Once musical, for which Jill won an award in the Best Historical Screenplay category at the Houston WorldFest Film Festival.
Jill will produce the film through her independent production company Reflection Media, Inc. The story is set in Detroit during the late sixties, and Jill, a native Michigander, had always wanted to make the film on location. Now, with the added advantage of Michigan's new 42% film tax incentives, it seems more appropriate than ever to do the project in Michigan.
I look forward to reporting next month on all the news from Michigan!
