Imagine a School...Summerhill

Angel necklacesOther recent productions include the feature length documentary Imagine a School ... Summerhill by director William Tyler Smith (The Third Mind), which was an official selection of the 2008 Cinequest Film Festival's online Vuze Audience Favorites Competition and  is currently hitting the festival circuit.

Filmed in England over a period of seven years, Imagine a School...Summerhill  follows the dramatic and compelling story about the students of England's only free school, who defend themselves in the British court, as it attempts to shut down their 87-year-old institution. This successful documentary has spawned a narrative feature, which is now in pre-production, with Scottish director Gillies MacKinnon (Hideous Kinky, A Simple Twist of Fate) attached to direct.
