Giving Thanks & Promoting a Brighter Future
December 2009
Greetings!

LPNJSThis year has presented many challenges but we have prevailed.  Thanks for your support and inspiration.  At the end of every year we as business partners evaluate and plan for the next 360 days.  On January 1st we begin a new decade.  As we welcome in 2010 we are proud to announce that next and final Nubian Dreams Cruise is selling better than we ever expected.   More and more people are understanding that Nubian Dreams is "more than a cruise" it is about the experience.

We wish to thank you for your support of both of our ventures and we hope that support continues.

Our prayers are for your health, wealth and happiness.

Sincerely,

NDC 3 Cruise - Discover the Beauty & Warmth of Canada
PostcrdThe Nubian Dreams Cruise started with a simple dream.  We wanted to bring people together to share each others experiences during an extended period of time.  Because we depart from New York City it offered an option for many east coasters to cruise without flying and for others it offered a unique opportunity to not only visit the foreign ports but also to discover the magic and excitement of New York City.

The History
NDC I - Oct. 2008 - NYC-San Juan, PR - Tortola
NDC 2 - Oct. 2009 - NYC - Gran Turk, T&C - Nassau, Bahamas

NDC 3 - Aug. 9th-14th, 2010 - NYC - St. John, New Brunswick - Halifax, Nova Scotia

About NDC 3
We changed the dates to August so that many of the teachers and government workers who have not been able to travel with us in October, would have the chance to experience the Nubian Dreams Cruise.  Not only is Canada rich with African history it is also full of beautiful scenery, tasty seafood, whales and a wonderful warm climate in the summer.  Because this is a 5 night cruise this adventure is much less expensive than our other cruises.

Carnival GloryWhat Makes this NDC Experience So Special?  The people and the programming.  This year we already have brothers and sisters coming from as far as South Africa, London, Paris, LA, ATL, DC, Philly, Detroit, Chicago and of course NYC.  Our ages range from 10years old to 70.  Yes, some of our past guests had so much fun the decided to bring their kids with them this time.  The Carnival Glory has great programs for kids, teens and well as adults.  The Nubian Dreams Event Pass is only for adults.  The Event Pass will be released for purchase in early spring along with the program lineup.

In Memorium
It is with great sadness that we close this newsletter with the notice of passing of a very special soul.  His name was Darryl Simms and he was a Nubian Dreamer.   James and I have known Darryl for many years.  He traveled with us to the Dominican Republic, Brazil and was one of the first people to book the first Nubian Dreams Cruise.  He didn't have a bad word to say about anyone.  He was quiet but always supportive.  We will miss him very much.  R.I.P. Darryl.  Thanks for the memories.
