Saturday, July 16 

DHS Soccer Team Casino Bus Trip

  

Join other parents and coaches of the DeSales Soccer Team on a night out at the Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana.  The bus leaves DeSales at 5:00 pm, arriving at the casino around 6:00 pm.  The bus will then depart at 11:00 pm and return to DeSales around midnight.

 

Cost is $25.00 per person and includes a $12 food voucher.  Reservations must be made by July 11th.  Please call Lynn Dodge at 599-2587 to reserve your spot.

 

Friday and Saturday, July 22-23

30th DeSales Summer Picnic

 

Hours: Friday, 6 pm - midnight | Saturday, 4 pm - midnight. The picnic is presented by the DeSales High School Alumni Association with the assistance of the DHS Athletic Department on the front lawn of school.

 

Featuring: Split-the-Pot Capital Prize Raffle with limited chances available at $100.00 each.  A second $10.00 per chance Split-the-Pot will also be held.  Get your chance by calling (502) 368-6519, ext 37 or you may e-mail Jerry Murphy at Jerry.murphy@desaleshs.com or Kyle Churchman at kmc3214@yahoo.com.  Chances can also be purchased at the school.

It takes many volunteers to make our picnic a success.  Please consider helping out this year!  Call Beth Rich, our picnic volunteer coordinator, at 409-8568 or email her at b.rich@insightbb.com if you would like to be of assistance.  Just a couple of hours of your time would be greatly appreciated.  Help is needed with set-up and take-down, as well as during both evenings of the picnic.

Fillies Club Clothing Sale

 

The Fillies Club, a Mom's club at DeSales, is sponsoring a "gently-used" clothing sale.  You can participate in one of two ways: By donating items to the sale or by purchasing items at the sale!  Collection for donated items will take place in the school cafeteria.

Collection Day
Friday, Aug. 5: 10am - 12:30pm; 3:00 - 6:00pm

Sale Day
Saturday, Aug. 6: 8:30am - 1:00pm

For more information and to receive the packet with all the necessary paperwork, including specific instructions, please contact Brandi Reece at brandireece@insightbb.com or call (502) 645-3755.  You can also stop by on the Collection Day and pick these forms up. 

Meet some of the moms from "The Fillies Club" at the sale, or you can attend their first meeting in August (exact date to be determined) in the cafeteria.   Moms, past moms, future moms, grandmothers, aunts are all welcome!

Soccer Team Trivia Night

  

Location: Dodge Gymnasium.  Doors open at 6:00 pm, events starts at 7:00 pm.  Cost is $10 per person, maximum of eight per table.  For reservations call Lynn Dodge at 599-2587.
