The Delta Chi Fraternity
General Letter to all Chapter/Colony "A"s - January 2012
Greetings!

It's the responsibility of the "A" ...

...to make sure that the other officers are also doing their jobs. And the majority of "A"s are to be commended! What are their secrets? Well, they use a team approach. They have each officer keep a notebook and keep information like what is included on the right. As part of a formalized officer transition program (see Section V of the Chapter Management BRIEF) they review each person's responsibilities with the new officers. They don't simply accept statements like, "Everything has been taken care of." - They check things out.

When these simple tips are ignored is when we get to hear, "No one ever told me that had to be done." Or "They told me that everything was taken care of." You can help protect your chapter from fines, missed deadlines for award applications and more with a little extra effort. It's up to you.

PLEASE read all the enclosed material and make sure that you pass it all on to your successor.

Let's make this spring the best it can be for Delta Chi.

Fraternally,
