iCafé Grand Opening
The iCafé opened Monday, September 29th.
The iCafé offers fresh-brewed Starbucks® coffee, Tazo®
tea, and other products including lattes, mochas, espresso and your other
favorite Starbucks® treats. A variety of pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt,
and delicious fruit smoothies are also available. The iCafé, located inside the I Hotel next to Houlihan's, is open daily
from 7AM to 7PM. Stop by on your way to work or drop in for a pick-me-up during the day.

Meet Our Newest Staff Members
Director of Sales
Cathy McArthur
Cathy McArthur has joined the I Hotel & Conference Center as
the new Director of Sales. She is originally from Laos (Southeast Asia),
but has lived in East Central Illinois for over 25 years. She was
most recently a marketing consultant and Director of the Workforce
Development Board. Prior to that, she was the Assistant to the General
Manager at the Champaign Country Club where she specialized in marketing, event
planning and high-end hospitality. She currently resides in Savoy with her husband,
Jason, and their two children, Samuel and Samara. For more information on the I

Houlihan's General Manager  Deke Vasey
Deke grew up in the
Washington, D.C. area, and moved to southern West Virginia during high school
and part of college. He moved to Jacksonville,IL in 1990, and worked on the
family farm, finishing school at Lincoln Land Community College. Deke has 17 years experience as a restaurant manager, and spent ten of those as a general manager. Upon moving to
Champaign, Deke met his wife, Gina. They are blessed with three children, Ryan(6),
Ava(3) and Anna(5 months). He is now, officially, a huge fan of the University of
Illinois, and Champaign is his favorite place to be. |
