I Hotel and Conference Center & Houlihan's Restaurant Grand Opening

Over 300 people, including University trustees and administrators and community leaders, were greeted by Chancellor Richard Herman, Mayor Jerry Schweighart, Peter Fox and Clint Atkins at the I Hotel and Conference Center and Houlihan's Restaurant grand opening on August 11th.   Only eleven months after breaking ground, the I Hotel and Conference Center, along with Houlihan's Restaurant, opened on schedule.  The union trades, building contractor, subcontractors and I Hotel and Houilihan's staffs were commended for their outstanding work.  After the ribbon cutting, tours were then given to the general public and Houlihan's Restaurant opened for an eager lunch crowd.   Views of the interiors of the I Hotel and Conference Center and Houlihan's Restaurant can be seen in the lefthand column and elsewhere in this newsletter.

If you are interested in booking rooms or an event at the I Hotel and Conference Center, you may schedule your personal tour by contacting Anna Simon, Conference Center Marketing Director, at 217.819.5000 or at asimon@StayAtTheI.com
