Illinois Conference Center
Our state-of-the-art Conference Center is loaded with the most advance technology available. All rooms are equipped with one or two screens, projection and sound equipment, the option of wireless, hard wired and/or UIUC Net wireless internet service, video and teleconferencing equipment and much more! Additionally, in our commitment to providing the highest technology experience for our clients, experienced Audio Visual Technicians will be on site for all meeting and conference needs.
Our conference rooms offer a variety of options:
- The Large Ballroom with accommodations for 700 for a theater style meeting to a banquet meal for 520 people
- The Junior Ballroom with accommodations for 400 for a theater style meeting to a banquet meal for 320 people
- Four Medium Conference Rooms ranging in size accomodating between 80 to 135 in a classroom style setting
- A Small Conference Room accommodating 50 in a classroom setting
- Four Breakout Rooms comfortably seating 30 people with ergonomic business chairs
- A Board Room with state-of-the-art conferencing capabilities, board table and executive seating for 20

Group Booking with Ease
Who's registered? Who's not? How do I get a Hotel Rooming List? Are these the questions you have asked yourself when coordinating a meeting or conference? If so, the I Hotel and Conference Center can eliminate the stress of coordinating group reservations.
Our Group Booking Tool allows each group coordinator the ability to view reservations, input rooming lists, and verify reservations at your finger tips. All groups booking with the I Hotel and Conference Center are assigned a Personal Access Code to view group reservations. Once your conference is booked with the I hotel, you will be given a direct link to the on-line booking process to forward your attendees.
Additionally, as the Group Coordinator you can input a Rooming List in an easy-to-load format and/or view current reservations at a glance to cross reference hotel guests registered with your program. This way, no individuals will be missed.

Construction Update
It may be fr eezing outside, but inside and out, the I Hotel and Conference Center construction is heating up! Our construction team has begun the steel framing of our Houlihan's Restaurant on the northwest corner of the building. Be sure to take a look next time you are at the Assembly Hall or going to the Research Park.
Additionally, our construction team is working inside, framing rooms, hanging drywall, placing shower bases, and much more. Each day, we are progressing and enhancing features to ensure we achieve our opening date of August 15, 2008!

Houlihan's "The Nooner"
Lunch in 15 minutes or it's free!
Houlihan's Restaurant, opening alongside the I Hotel and Conference Center, will feature a quick lunch program called, "The Nooner. Lunch in 15 minutes or it's free." Just when you thought that you wouldn't have time for a great lunch, Houlihan's offers a quick and simple solution to a hearty lunchtime meal. Noon lunch options include Soups, Salads, Combos, and Sandwiches. Prices range from $7.95-$10.95.
To take advantage of the guarantee:
1. Your party of six or less must order from the Nooner Lunch
section of the menu
2. Order Monday - Friday from 11am to 2pm
Your 15 minutes starts when the server leaves the table with your order and ends when the food is delivered. If all orders are not delivered within 15 minutes of the server leaving your table, then you will enjoy lunch on us. Desserts, alcoholic beverages, or any other items not listed on the Houlihan's Nooner Lunch menu are not included in the guarantee.
You could leave your office, have lunch and be back in half an hour!

| Meet Our New Staff Additions
Jesus Sanchez is the newly appointed restaurant manager of the Houlihan's Restaurant. Mr. Sanchez has seven years of
managerial experience in the food industry. Prior to his employment with Houlihan's, Mr. Sanchez held a trio of managerial positions at TGI F riday's in Champaign including Shift Manager, Kitchen Manager, and Assistant General Manager. Furthermore, he demonstrated his entrepreneurial prowess as owner and manager of the Land of Mexico restaurant. In the past, Mr. Sanchez researched health and safety issues for the Spanish speaking migrant community in Central Illinois in addition to voluntarily hosting and fundraising for the La Voz Latina radio program. Mr. Sanchez is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. As a marathon enthusiast, he has successfully completed four marathons and one ultra-marathon. He continues to strive for qualification in the Boston Marathon. Mr. Sanchez currently resides in Champaign with his wife Alejandra and two sons, Diego and Dante. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Grove is an expert in facility operations, maintenance, management, and construction. His most recent and impressive accomplishment was his responsibility for the daily operation of Motorola's 76,000 square foot software design facility formerly located in the Research Park. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Grove was a plant operator, in addition to a member of the Engineering Project Team and Engineering Services, for Provena Covenant Medical Center.
