Greetings! Success! Not sure if you've noticed but I've started each "Linen Lingo" newsletter so far with SUCCESS! And I will continue to do so. My belief is based on positive success. Success that has been made possible due to my failures. You've all heard "learn from your mistakes." But, that's just it. You have to learn from them and make a change. "To improve is to change, to succeed is to change often."~Winston Churchill. If you're just "satisfied" with your current linen vendor then I think it's time to CHANGE! Choosing the right partner to manage your linen program is key. By utilizing our various programs for restaurant and medical linen you can begin to see the change not only in quality and service, but more importantly your customers perception of the care you put into your business. You get one chance to make a lasting impression. Make it a memorable impression. A BIG THANK YOU! to all for forwarding this newsletter and past newsletters! We're now more than half-way through 2012 which is unbelievable! So please enjoy your summer and don't be so busy that you forget to take time to live! Please don't forget to connect with Tipton Linen on your favorite social media site. Thank you all very much. |

This is interesting!
| | Tipton Salt/Soil Test | We stated in the Tipton Promise that we would "make linen interesting!" Well, here goes. I was recently told that no one wants their vendor or business partner to be "interesting." And I said "I beg to differ!" In fact I can almost guarantee if you haven't already you are about to watch the short video above about our soil test, BECAUSE I titled it "This is interesting." See what I mean! Not only are we great at linen we're also great at lay-flat matting. If I only had a dime for every time I heard someone say "Oh, I can just go to the store and buy a mat."
The Salt/Soil test is one of most effective methods of demonstrating how a Tipton Linen rental mat collects and hides dirt better than a standard mat that was bought in a store. All of our mats are approved by the National Floor & Safety Institute and the Americans with Disabilities Act. This low cost effective product is a great way to improve your business brand and image as well as keep your business clean! Not to mention you can customize them to your needs. Visit our lay-flat matting page today. |

Differentiate and Dominate.
-Don't do what everyone else is doing!

Remember when...you were 8 or 9 years old, and it was so cool when you'd hear the phrase "let's pretend". Well, let's pretend for a moment. Let's set up the scenario. You've been contacted for a VERY important interview. You've waited on this moment for a while now. It's the big day, you get in your car you head to the address listed. Just as you pull up to the unmarked building it begins to rain. You step out of your vehicle (hoping you're at the right location) and you make your way to the unmarked(what you believe to be the front door.) By this time of course it's pouring rain, but you manage to get in the building unharmed, stepping just inside the door onto an old, worn out, weathered and let's just face it dirty rug remnant. You do your best to dry your feet from the rain outside. As you look ahead there's a friendly receptionist there to greet you with a smile. You take a few steps toward her and it happens! You slip and fall. Luckily the only thing hurt was your pride. What a great first impression you've made! Just imagine how that interview will go?
Now let's do that again.
You've been contacted for a VERY important interview. You've waited on this moment for a while now. It's the big day, you get in your car you head to the address listed. Just as you pull up to the unmarked building it begins to rain. You step out of your vehicle(knowing you're at the right location) because you see a welcome mat with the future employer's logo just outside the front door. By this time it's pouring, but you manage to get into the building unharmed after making your way over the welcome mat and through the front door. Now you find yourself inside out of the rain standing on a customized logo mat welcoming you and thanking you for visiting today. You take a moment to admire the mat and then begin to dry your feet as you normally would before making your way onto the floor(since it is raining out.) As you look ahead there's a friendly receptionist there to greet you with a smile. You take a few steps toward her and it happens! You give her your name, your appointment time and you're all set!
Which interview do you think will go more in your favor?
There's a lot of you out there that think first impression makes or breaks you! Well, what about the first impression of your business? Wouldn't you say it could have the same effect. Your customer or future employees first impression of your place of business could make or break you!!! Set the tone right. Don't have the frame of mind of "Oh, once they're here, they're here!" That is so far from the truth. Sure they made it in, but the question remains "Will they return?" Atmosphere, friendliness and cleanliness set the tone for successful restaurant's, convenience stores and even medical clinics. Greet your customer's before you even actually speak to your customers. NO, it doesn't have to be a customized logo entrance mat, but have the proper matting down so that everyone is covered. Find out more about the safety and liability of floor matting with Tipton Linen today. |
