You are invited to contribute to the planning of reconstructing Sunset Blvd.
Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, is proceeding with its plans to construct a new regional sanitary sewer along Sunset Boulevard during 2012. MCES is working with CIDNA to explore options for reconstructing Sunset Boulevard once the new sewer has been installed.
CIDNA is inviting residents to participate in the planning of reconstructing Sunset Boulevard. CIDNA will hold the fourth in a series of community-lead meetings to gather input from residents and review preliminary visual options under consideration for the reconstruction.
Tuesday, October 4, 2011
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Jones-Harrison Residence
3700 Cedar Lake Avenue
At the meeting, you will learn more about the sewer construction project that is prompting this planning for reconstruction of Sunset Boulevard. Design concepts ranked favorably in previous workshops will be presented in visual plan for review. The participants will be given an opportunity to review the details, provide feedback and rank the proposed plan alternatives. The preferred alternatives will be presented to the CIDNA board for consideration and recommendation to the City. The meeting will be facilitated by design consultant HR Green.
