for Preservation

"To Keep it Free Takes a Fortune"

The board of directors of the Marginal Way Preservation Fund (MWPF) approved in April a fundraising initiative aimed at generating a minimum of $150,000 in private donations by year end.

If your gifts are mailed directly to the Marginal Way Preservation Fund, or placed in the new blue donation boxes at either end of the Marginal Way, the funds will be applied to long-term conservation efforts.

Please mail your contributions directly to the Marginal Way Preservation Fund, PO Box 1455, Ogunquit, ME 03907.  Other ways you can help ... host a Marginal Way "friend-raiser" in your home, organize an event or volunteer.  You may now make an annual pledge to the Marginal Way Preservation Fund for quarterly invoicing or charging to a credit card.

"When I end my walk on the Marginal Way, I feel refreshed

and know that this is one of the joys in life." [Merle Gold]

Similar in mission to the Fort Williams Charitable Foundation, where Maine's gorgeous Cape Elizabeth park is protected by those who love it most, the Marginal Way in Ogunquit requires a sizable Endowment to support preservation well into the future.  The volunteers at Fort Williams Charitable say it this way,"To Keep it Free Takes a Fortune."
