Holiday Giving That Gives Back

We need your input for our first Giving Gives List!

giving_gives_logoWith the holiday season rapidly approaching, Net Impact DFW is asking our community to share recommendations about local social entrepreneurs and sustainability-minded artists (work with recycled or restored materials, etc.) who give back. We will take those recommendations and post a listing on our website and on facebook that you can refer to when you're looking for that perfect gift. It will be our first Giving Gives list!

Please email us at [email protected] and tell us the following:

  • Name of the social entrepreneur/business
  • Description of product/service
  • What they do to give back
  • Contact information for the entrepreneur/business: name, phone, email, website, facebook, twitter, etc. (and if you can get a logo we can use, jpeg format, that would be great)
  • Brief explanation of why you believe they should be on our Giving Gives List

By submitting a recommendation, you also are giving us permission to list you as the person who made the recommendation.

Please share this with your network, and ask your friends and associates for their recommendations, too.

Carrotmob Success

Net Impact DFW partnered up with Dallas Greendrinks for this historic event, part of the TEDxSMU Idea Week. Dallas' first-ever Carrotmob generated $3,800 in revenue, of which 81.5% will be plugged back into LaGrange's energy efficiency efforts.
