How Do Emotions Affect Your Health?

Introducing Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.)

Dear (Contact First Name),

Physicians and scientific studies report that many who suffer from physical illnesses, pain and discomfort may be affected by charge from an emotional experience-in the present or past-that is stored in the body and triggers the pain.

Recent neuroscience N.E.T.studies also point out that our emotional response is

physiologically

based rather than

psychologically

based. This means that a physical focus on treating emotional charge rather than a psychological one can be very effective because the emotional charge is stored in the physical body.

Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.) is a mind-body stress reduction intervention aimed at improving behavioral and physical problems such as chronic injuries, pain, worry, anxiety, depression, addictions, etc. The N.E.T. client receives a complete holistic analysis of what causes the pain,

where it has been stored, and what other issues might be involved. Major changes can occur in just one session without reliving the pain of emotional events.

Dr.  Jingduan Yang is a certified N.E.T practitioner who integrates this therapy into his psychiatric diagnosis and treatment.  NET is safe and effective, and is a natural way to instantly resolve long-standing health problems by resolving the emotional components that accompany the physical symptoms.

Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life

Self-Healing: Energy Renewing Ear Massage

 ear massage

Ear massage is an extremely relaxing and effective therapy aimed at reducing stress, promoting wellbeing and addressing various health issues. It can be enjoyed by all and promotes a deep sense of peace and tranquility.

Ancient Chinese medical literature states that "the ear is the meeting point of all meridians" and that "vital energy of human body converges on the ear." Medical experts in ancient times regarded ear massage as a practice for health enhancement and disease prevention.  Ear massage triggers the release of the body's natural painkillers-endorphins. Studies have demonstrated that ear stimulation increases levels of endorphins in both the blood and cerebrospinal fluid.

Ear acupuncture is used throughout the world to calm anxiety, manage pain, reduce substance cravings and assist in the detoxification of addictive substances.

Here is a great ear massage that you can do for yourself or your loved ones:

1. Rub in small circular motions with your thumbs inside the widest upper part inside the ears, holding them from the outside with the index and middle fingers.

2. Use your index finger to massage inside the smaller crevices if your thumbs don't fit, and along the front of your ears where they attach to the head.

3. Lastly, massage the earlobes by gently pulling them down and also making circles with your thumb and index finger.

Healthy ReBrussel Sproutscipes

Brussel Sprouts

Brussel sprouts are rich in many valuable nutrients.  It is an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin C, dietary fiber, and folic acid.  Hence, it enhances the body's resistance to a number of health problems and immunological defects.  In fact, they are thought to be very effective against colon cancer. This food is low in saturated fat, and very low in cholesterol.  Below are two simple and delicious recipes we hope can help you enjoy this wonderfully nutritious vegetable!

Roasted Spouts

Roasted sprouts are delicious. To roast, preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Remove tough outer leaves from Brussels sprouts and trim off and discard the stems.  Cut sprouts in half and rinse them in a colander with cold water.  Drain them well.  Mix them in a bowl with olive oil, sea salt and black pepper.  Pour them on a sheet pan and roast for 20 to 25 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.  Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly.  Sprinkle with sea salt or kosher salt, and serve.

Sprouts Salad

Since cooked Brussels sprouts are small and compact, they make a great snack food that can be simply eaten as is or seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.  Combine quartered cooked Brussels sprouts with sliced red onions, walnuts, and your favorite mild cheese such as a goat cheese or feta. Toss with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for an exceptionally healthy, delicious side dish or salad.
