FOOD La Bodega Restaurant and Tapas Bar
I have been eating at this great Spanish restaurant for many years now, either date night with my wife or celebrating with a large group, and this eatery never disappoints. The service, food and atmosphere remain consistent and a good time is always had.
The traditional Spanish Cevechi (white fish, fresh lemon and spices) is the best I have had in the city. The Patatas Bravas (their famous potatoes, zesty dressing), Bonito En Escabeche (tuna in a sherry vinegar marinade), Pincho Moruno (skewered tender cubes of marinated beef) are three of my favourites of many delicious tapas. As for drinks, La Bodega is known for their amazing Sangria. I highly recommend you try a pitcher but be careful as it goes down like Koolaid! My featured wine is BC's Painted Turtle Pinot Grigio, on sale now for $8.49 per bottle! This is an easy drinking white as well as being easy on the pocket book. It is perfect for the summer bbq's at the beach as well as mixed in your own perfect Sangria. Grapefruit and fresh pear aromas mingle with apple, peach and lemon zest flavours. This crisp dry Pinot Grigio pairs well with grilled chicken, halibut or just great on its own!

Mortgage Specialist
As we enter the moderately paced Summer housing market (finally!) mortgage rates have continued to soften. This is especially true over the last two weeks as both fixed rates and variable rates have seen significant downward movement.
