| FOOD Romer's Burger Bar
My feature eatery is Romer's Burger Bar @1873 W4th Ave  at Cypress. www.romersburger.com Romer's serves some of the best burgers I've had in a long time, serving a high quality product. I recommend their parmesan crusted onion rings as a starter and mini donuts for dessert: both are to die for. I would rate Romer's Burger Bar a nice step up from all of Vancouver's Burger joints. They have a fresh atmosphere and great staff. Ask about doing a group party in their "Valt" , great for Parties of 15 to 30 people. Reviews |
WINE Oyster Bay Merlot
 My feature wine is Oyster Bay Merlot. www.oysterbaywines.com. More known for their famous Sauvignon Blanc, Oyster Bay also produces a great Merlot at $17.99. The Merlot features hints of ripe plum and currant, embraced by blackberry and subtle spice and lingering fine grained tannins. Perfect with a steak or burger.
