Sustainable Shabbat

Shabbat, February 11, 2012  10AM

Join us for BK's first Sustainable Shabbat!

We will gather together in prayer, discussion and song to celebrate our deep connection to the wonders of nature and all creation. The service will include short breakout sessions led by BK members focusing on steps that we can take to reduce our energy use, cut food waste and promote environmental justice in our daily lives. We will also have special Kiddush fare featuring locally prepared or organically grown foods. Try walking or carpooling to synagogue, bring your own mug for coffee or tea, and come compost with us!
