Bnai Keshet
BK Religious School - Bet Midrash This Week
Tu Bishvat Seder- Roots For Your Soul

Tuesday
February 7, 2012 8:00pm - 9:00pm

Rabbi Elliott Tepperman, Beth Sandweiss, Melissa Schaffer

Join us for a night chanting, drumming, eating, study and spiritual aliyah!
In the 17th Century kabbalists transformed the Jewish New Years for trees into a celebration of the Tree - a metaphor for the entire spiritual experience and our understanding of God.

Join us for a spiritual expedition through the branches of this mystical tree of life: Assiyah - the physical universe, Yetzirah - the emotional universe, Beriyah - the intellectual universe and Atzilut - the universe of complete oneness and integration.

As part of the seder we will be eating fruits and nuts from trees and drinking grape juice or wine. If you can bring one or two of your favorite things to eat from trees and a favorite grape juice or wine. No need to bring a lot or worry if you can't bring any - just come.
