Dear Bnai Keshet Chevre,
The secular New Year gives us an extra chance to regroup and recharge in the middle of our Jewish calendar. It's also an auspicious time for us to review and assess how the year is going so far. The past several months have been incredible for me: I was ordained as a rabbi in May, joined BK in July, and gave birth to my daughter, Malka, in September. Through all the excitement, I have found opportunities to meet so many of you face to face and even more through phone calls and e-mail.
I look forward to seeing familiar faces and hopefully meeting even more of you at our mid-year BET MIDRASH RE-ORIENTATION, February 4th 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Please join us for a festive kiddush lunch and come hear about how Bet Midrash is running and about new learning opportunities for adults and kids.
We also want to hear some of your ideas as we work on our five-year strategic plan to build a stronger community of Jewish learners and do-ers. Whether you'll be able to join us or not on February 4th, I'd like to fill you in on what community members have been learning so far this year. ........ Please click to read the entire letter |
