Send Synergy Scholars to

D.C. and Philadelphia

Greetings!

This June, Synergy Academies is sending 15 eighth grade students to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia to learn about our country's history and government as part of their eighth grade U.S. History curriculum.

Over the last several months, our students and their families raised over $7,000 for this trip.  However, they have three more weeks left to raise the remaining $10,000.  So, on behalf of our student scholars, we ask that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to this trip.

This will be the first year that Synergy is sending students to Philadelphia and our second year sending students to D.C.  Read about the life-changing impact last year's trip had on our students below.

The Capitol Even though Anita's father lost his job due to the economy, her family still helped raise money to send her to D.C. last year because they saw what a tremendous opportunity this was for Anita.

Thanks to Synergy's academic programs, Anita is now reading several years above grade-level, and she is positioned to be the first in her family to go to college.

When asked about what she learned from going to D.C., Anita replied, "I want to go to college in D.C."  This is phenomenal since prior to attending Synergy, most students like Anita have never thought about going to college, let alone, going to college outside of Los Angeles.

This year, our students will not only visit D.C., but they will also spend a day in Philadelphia to learn about the origins of the Constitution of the United States.  With your financial help, more students like Anita will be inspired to pursue college.
