REACH the World for Jesus
Controlling our Thoughts
This week in our 100-day challenge, we have been studying what God has to say about bringing our thoughts under control -- our thoughts are reflected in our words and the attitude of our hearts. Let's be positive examples for people who are wondering about Christianity. We should make this our daily prayer: "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." Psalm 19:14. As hard as that may seem at times, with God's help it is possible.
Another scripture to keep in mind is found in Romans 12:2: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will."
If you have a testimony you'd like to share with us, e-mail the church office or use the linked sheet. If you don't have a copy of the 100-Day Challenge, you can access the week-by-week study online.

CONNECT to God's Family
Men's Retreat at Donner Lake
April 27-29
Plan for a time to be spiritually renewed and encouraged. This annual event is like no other men's function during the year because it gives you time away from daily distractions to grow your relationships with the Lord and with your brothers. It's a time to re-focus on the right priorities.
Our official deadline to commit to lodging expenses for this year's retreat is fast approaching! After March 11, space will be on an "as available" basis. If you have not signed up yet, stop by the foyer table this Sunday. If you have signed up, please make payment arrangements with Kevin La Coursiere or Dave Worth. If you're not sure, sign up; payment options and scholarships are available.
Men's Big Breakfast
The Fathers and Sons theme of this spring's Big Breakfast, on March 10, is the perfect opportunity to invite your dad, teen, uncle, or grandfather to come spend some quality time with you. There is no cost to attend this fabulous breakfast spread, but we do need to get a "head count" so we're prepared with enough food. If you plan to attend, please send a quick note to Cliff Patton or Dave Worth or pick up a flyer on Sunday and return the bottom portion before you leave.

GROW Spiritually
Awana Game Wins
This last weekend, Antelope Springs sent 20 children to participate in the Northern California Awana Games, held at Oakmont High School in Roseville. Our Sparks Team, coached by Kali Eastman and David and Danielle Barber, came in third place with only three points separating first and third place. Way to go team! For our T&T Team, 10 students (6 girls and 4 boys) participated. The T&T team played 10 different games and finished in second place. Fantastic! Their coaches for weekend practices beforehand and on game day were Kali Eastman and Kathie Roe.
Citation Award Earned
As a special note, Kali Eastman has earned her Citation Award in Awana. This weekend she will fly to Chicago to receive her award from Art Rorheim. Kali has completed 10 years of Awana Books. This includes hours of intense Bible Study and hundreds of verses memorized.
In 1950, Lance Latham and Art Rorheim founded Awana as a parachurch organization. Each week, more than 1.5 million children and teens, 250,000 volunteers and 170-plus field staff take part in Awana in over 22,000 churches in the U.S. and internationally. Kali has not only participated in her Awana activities, she volunteers as a leader each week for the younger children in Awana. We are really proud of Kali and her great accomplishment. She has a heart for the Lord, and we are excited to see how He is going to continue to use her for His glory.

SERVE to His Glory
Youth Winter Camps in Review
First of all, huge thanks go to everyone who helped make last weekend's camp a joyful experience for our 29 high school students. To those who prayed or sponsored campers and the seven counselors and others who volunteered in many ways, we truly appreciate your support.
The camps for middle school and high school were both amazing! The older students had an exceptional time at Lake Tahoe and were met by God there. Lots of decisions and prayers were made about making faith audacious in their lives. Our 17 middle school students and four leaders also had a fantastic experience at Camp Chinquapin early last month. Please continue to pray for them as they desire to live out the changes God made in them, and changes He told them to make.
Pastor Mike
Thank you to everyone who came last Sunday afternoon to the ordination council meeting for Mike Easter. After thorough questioning of Mike's doctrinal beliefs, the council of pastors met and approved his ordination. The official ordination and laying on of hands will be at Antelope Springs later this month.
