REACH the World for Jesus
Mug & Muffin
Food for Thought
Our next Women's Mug & Muffin will be Saturday, February 18, at 10 a.m. at ASC. This month we will be looking at ways that scripture is our sustenance. Meet our deaconesses and discover verses that have been particularly nourishing to them.
ASC Women's Ministry events are held about once every quarter, and we look forward to these fellowship times with our sisters in Christ. Be sure to come and be a part of this time of learning, sharing, and enjoying refreshments. Bring your favorite mug and always invite a friend or two to join in. Going with our food-based theme, please bring along a donation for the food closet. Child care is provided. For more information, contact Marsha Hull.

CONNECT to God's Family
Men's Breakfasts in February and March
Mark your calendar for THIS Saturday morning, February 11, at 8 a.m. A Men's Breakfast will be held at Perko's Restaurant (8075 Watt Avenue, Antelope). We will meet in the main area of the restaurant this time, where there is more room for us. Come and enjoy the food and a great time of fellowship. This is always a good time to invite a friend or two. Contact Eric Kemp for details.
And, please make note of The BIG BREAKFAST, coming to ASC on Saturday, March 10. This is a special event for Fathers and Sons. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m., and there is no cost to attend. Since the theme is all about fathers and sons, be sure to invite your dads and teens! Volunteers are needed to help with setup and cleanup. We look forward to a great morning together. If you can help or have questions, contact Cliff Patton.
50+ Senior Potluck and Game Night
Our next Senior Potluck and Game Night is slated for Friday, February 24, at 6:30 p.m. at ASC. Please bring your favorite game and a dish according to last name: A-E -- salad; F-L -- dessert; M-Z -- main dish. We know how to have a good time of fellowship -- and remember that guests are always welcome! Contact Lynn Sisler with any questions.

SERVE to His Glory
Daily Disciplines
As part of our 100-day study, this week we've been focusing on discipline. To make room for God, we've been cutting back on technology and other distractions and spending more time with our Lord. If you haven't yet fasted from a distraction this week, consider this Saturday's challenge: To live on only $1 for a day. Calculate what you spend during a typical day, and open your heart to God's message about poverty.
Our recent challenge to praise God seems to have reached distant lands, as we read the latest news from Rebecca Farley, our missionary to India. The challenge also brought this testimony from Lorrie:
"I had a week that I would not want to relive. Monday found me in the dentist's chair for an unplanned root canal. The Lord got me through without too much discomfort, praise for that. Tuesday's reading about keeping pure thoughts and a praiseworthy attitude really hit me, especially when, Thursday, I was back for another root canal. Continually saying, "pure thoughts and a praiseworthy attitude" helped me stay focused on how to give praise during a bad time. Praise God for this 100-day challenge. We can always find a way to praise Him if we are focused on a praiseworthy attitude."
To share a testimony: e-mail or use the linked sheet.

This is a reminder to please submit your commitment cards this Sunday as a follow-up to the recent letter from Pastor Frank regarding the ministries and building plans for Antelope Springs. If you haven't picked up your letter yet, it is available in the church lobby.
