REACH the World for Jesus
Easy Way to Reach Out
If you want to be an encouragement to struggling households, consider helping with the delivery of this year's Christmas food baskets. The families who receive these Christmas baskets -- filled with items for a special dinner -- are so grateful, and it's a blessing to serve in this way. We will meet at the church on Saturday, December 17, at 9:30 a.m. and deliver between 10 a.m. and noon. If you want to help, let Becky Easter know or simply come on delivery day.
Also, THIS SUNDAY is the last day for donations to fill these baskets. Especially needed are boxed potatoes, stuffing, cake mixes, and pancake mixes. If you wish, there is the option of purchasing a voucher so we can do the shopping for you! Thank you for all your help in this vital ministry.

CONNECT to God's Family
Several Chances to Connect
Annual Congregational Meeting December 11
As we consider how to grow closer together as a family, joining in this Sunday's Annual Congregational Meeting is a way for each of us to share in the workings and future plans of our church. The meeting will be held at about 11 a.m., following the morning service. Among the items to be shared are our ministries, plans and vision for Antelope Springs Church, and an update on the Youth Building. Church members will be voting regarding the nominees for Elders, Deacons, and Deaconesses, as well as voting on the affirmation of Mike Easter as Associate Pastor. But the meeting is not just for members -- everyone is encouraged to attend.
Wildside's "Chaotic Christmas 2011" and Refuge's "Snow Ball"
Middle School Students: You are invited to join in crazy Christmas games with tons of candy, live music, and our 5th annual white elephant exchange on Thursday, December 15, 6:30-8 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Bring a gift (new or used, not more than $5) to exchange, and prepare for a chaotic evening.
High Schoolers: Our 3rd annual Snow Ball is slated for Tuesday, December 13, 7-9 p.m. Bring a friend or a date. The dress is semi-formal and the cost is $10 at the door. This year features a three-course meal, a free photo booth, live music, Christmas games, and a live talent show!
Refuge and Wildside will take the weeks of December 19 and 26 off, and we'll be back on January 3 and 5, respectively.
Join the Holiday Potluck
This potluck is for our entire church family! It will be held on Friday, December 16, at 6:30 p.m. If your last name begins with A-J, bring a main dish; K-S, bring a side dish; and T-Z, dessert. Please join us for a fun time of food and fellowship. Also, each family is asked to bring an inexpensive wrapped Christmas gift for a child, marked with gender and age range.

GROW Spiritually
Challenge Coming
Becoming Who You Were Meant to Be is the theme of our 100-day church-wide challenge that will begin January 1. This is a 15-week devotional with a different challenge each week. The goal is to help us see how God views the way we live, with us then making changes to align with His purpose. What a blessing and opportunity this will be for each of us!

SERVE to His Glory
Dress Rehearsal This Sunday
All children who are in the Christmas program will be having a dress rehearsal this Sunday at about 11:30, after the morning service. Please have your children bring their costumes and meet in the sanctuary. An early lunch will be served before rehearsal. And remember to practice songs and lines at home or in the car whenever you have a few minutes to burst into Christmas carols!
