Radical Ministry Requires Radical Prayer

"It is written," [Jesus] said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"

Trunk & Treat

Saturday, October 29

Bring your kids and neighbors from 5 to 8 p.m. on
Saturday for an evening of food, fun, music, and God's love. We'll have a
barbecue, games with candy prizes for the kids, live music, hay rides, a jump house, a large slide, an obstacle course, and even a crazy bungee run. Don't forget to drop off your donations of food and supplies if you haven't already, and bring an extra bag of wrapped candy if you can.

Reach Out in Prayer

 Thanksgiving community plate

Please be praying for the Thanksgiving Community Dinner, that we will be a blessing to many in our area that are struggling through hard times. The dinner will be a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ and His message of salvation, and we hope to have everyone involved in this outreach. If you are wondering what you can do, please start by signing up to help. We are still in need of hosts/hostesses, food prep volunteers, and people to help with setup and cleanup on the day of the event. And encourage your teens to get involved as food servers, setup crews, and more. See the display in the foyer for more information.

Mug & Muffin at Apple Hill

Ladies! Here's something different and fun: Join us as we have our "Mug and Muffin" at Apple Hill on Saturday, November 5. Just meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. to carpool. We will meet at two places at Apple Hill as a group. You can either bring your own lunch or buy lunch at the second location, and Renate Gagne will bring a devotional for after lunch. Then the afternoon is on your own schedule. Encourage others to come and enjoy the day!

Each carpool will share the cost of gas. We still need a few drivers, so please e-mail Marsha Hull, call (916) 773-7727, or stop by the welcome table after each service this Sunday to sign up.

Daily Prayer for Our Church

As most of you know, we have a prayer ministry during Sunday services in our church and a prayer chain for emergency prayer requests. Sunday morning prayer is where we seek God's face and hand for each other, church services, our leaders. We would like to enter a new season of prayer for our church under last Sunday's challenge by Mike Easter that each and every one of us be in prayer daily for Antelope Springs. Please join us in this prayer for our church according to 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:  Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I stand with my brothers and sisters in Christ on behalf of Antelope Springs Church; its leaders, members, and attendees; and all ministries. We seek to abide in your will, with your direction, upon whose leadership comes first. Father, we are asking to go deeper in our relationship with you. Open our hearts and minds. Show us your will.

We ask that you would protect our church, the land you have given us, the pastor, his family, and all of us here at Antelope Springs. We seek to honor you. Let your will be ours. Move with magnificent power and grace, Holy Spirit, in our services and ministry.

We declare your word is true and holy. The word of the Lord stands forever. Continually remind us that we are sons and daughters of the Most High God.

Refresh and renew a right spirit in us. Awaken us, O God! Lead us in your path of righteousness. Let Antelope Springs be a fortress of righteousness. Let us live to bless Jesus. Let us bless Him with righteousness.

We trust you, Father, for breakthrough in our lives, our families, this church, and this community.  We declare that Antelope Springs is walking in the destiny authored for us by God. We want to live in your presence. Occupy our minds, our hearts, our will, our ministry.  Enable us to walk in love and serve with your heart. Show us your will, lead us in your paths. Make Jesus the center of all that we are and all that we do for Antelope Springs Church.

In Jesus' Glorious Name,

Amen
