REACH the World for Jesus
Free Flu Shots
November 1, 10:30 a.m. to Noon
We know from the Bible that when we first meet people's physical needs, then we have opportunities to build trust and meet spiritual needs as well. With winter approaching, we're able to help ward off flu viruses by hosting a free flu shot clinic at the church on Tuesday morning, November 1. Sponsored by Placer County Health and Human Services, the shots are available to anyone, so invite a friend or neighbor and get your shot at the same time.

CONNECT to God's Family
It's Party Time!
Sometimes we just need to be JOYFUL, and we have options for all ages during our end-of-October celebrations at Antelope Springs. All of this fun is free, so invite your friends.
High Schoolers: Next Tuesday, October 25, Refuge is holding its annual Fall Frenzy from 7 to 9 p.m. The theme is Human Clue Night, so you'll want to come and see what the frenzy is all about.
Middle Schoolers: It's time to dress up, have fun, and get lots of candy at Wildside on Thursday, October 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Join us as we have a great night filled with crazy games, live music, tons of candy, and a costume contest (but please leave all blood and guts, witches, and demons at home).
All Ages: Kids in costumes, games, food, and much more is in store during this year's Trunk & Treat on Saturday, October 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. Bring young ones and participate or come to eat, visit, and volunteer. We still need some donations, particularly hamburgers and candy, so please help if you can!
Young Adults: On October 31, Lighthouse will be taking the night off, but we're having movie night on Monday, October 24, beginning at 7:30 p.m. We'll be watching Soul Surfer.

GROW Spiritually
Being Part of a Small Group...
...is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other believers, to pray for and to meet each other's needs in our daily lives. The importance of this connection is invaluable, and so many of us have grown in our daily walks, developing life-long friendships.
"I wasn't part of a small group for years, but when I was encouraged to join an evening Bible Study, the learning and interaction was something I looked forward to each week. I've come to really know each individual, pray for their needs, and rejoice with them in how God is working," says Jill Gottier.
Are you missing out on "small group" fellowship? There are many different groups that meet each week. Check out the choices and pick one that you'd like to try, and you will be welcomed! A few of the small groups include Monday night men's and women's studies (both at church); a Tuesday men's study at 6:30 a.m. at Perko's; a women's study on Wednesday morning at the church; and a couples' study on Thursday nights. Find a complete list on the website under Small Groups Ministry.

SERVE to His Glory
Community Thanksgiving Dinner
November 19
As we get closer to the day of this event, please be in prayer for specific needs and for God's blessing on this outreach to our community. You can visit the table in the foyer to see a complete list, and to prayerfully consider how you can volunteer to help make this Thanksgiving celebration a success!
Blankets and towels in good condition and toiletries are being collected to be given out to those in need during this time.
