REACH the World for Jesus
Feast with Friends
Now's the time for an end-of-summer blast before cooler weather. Neighborhood barbecues are one way you can bring the love of Christ to those who would not otherwise attend church services. Reach out through an informal and enjoyable time of fellowship on your own block.
Several families at Antelope Springs have successfully hosted these. The food can be simple, such as hot dogs and chips, or something more. Activities can include games and "ice-breakers" for getting better acquainted. Join with other church families and work together to host a barbecue. The ideas are endless, but the plan is to pray first for God's guidance in "planting seeds" and for opportunities to share your faith. For more suggestions, you can contact Todd and Michelle Morgan or Robby and Gail Hibbs.

CONNECT to God's Family
Membership Matters
It's wonderful to have so many faithful people attending Antelope Springs each week. If you or someone you know has been wondering why to take the next step and become a member, consider this: God wants each of us to find our place in a family of believers. This commitment means we want to connect with each other and join together in praising and serving the Lord. As we approach the end of the year, church members are participating in the nomination and election of our leadership, and the whole of the church should be involved in this type of decision. If you've been waiting to take the step of membership, let this be the time to act. Contact the church office and sign up to attend the next Pastor's Welcome Class.

GROW Spiritually
Faithful & Skilled Teens
Trek and Journey are the teen AWANA clubs that meet every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. Junior high and high school students have an opportunity to serve as Leaders-In-Training (LIT's) each week in Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T. They are eligible to participate in special events such as Bible Quizzing, AWANA Games, Grand Prix, and Honor Camp. Journey students are also eligible to attend leadership training conferences. Being a part of Trek or Journey is an awesome way to learn leadership skills and to grow in Christ with others! If you know any young people not already involved, please encourage them to join. You may contact the leaders below for information or go to www.awana.org for a description of each program.

SERVE to His Glory
Prepare a Warm Welcome
Our missionary to India, Rebecca Farley, is returning on September 20th, and we are excited to see her! During her one-month stay, Rebecca will be making the rounds to Sunday school classes, AWANA, and other gatherings to share how the Lord has been using her in distant lands. Read Rebecca's most recent Mission Report, which is sent regularly to her prayer partners. If you'd like to be on the distribution list, please see her while she's in town. Rebecca also has a blog that you can follow to stay up-to-date on her service in India. As Rebecca looks ahead, she asks of us: "Please pray that God will show me what to do, and help me to trust Him. And as always, please pray for the lost millions in India and Nepal to believe in Christ!"
