Prepare for a
Thanksgiving Blessing 

We are following a call from the Lord to bless our community with a special Thanksgiving dinner. It may seem early to be talking about the holidays, but we are getting started right away with a planning meeting on Sunday, August 7, at 12:30 p.m. Please be praying about this amazing undertaking where we expect to feed several hundred neighbors, and know that it will take all of our church family working together to accomplish this mission. This week, the church has been filled with incredible joy and energy. Our halls echo with powerful cheers for God and songs of praise as 130 kids learn about God's creation and Jesus' love for us. On Thursday, 24 children who heard the message of salvation made decisions for Christ.

The VBS program is also a time of growth for a tremendous number of teens and adults who cheerfully serve as group and activity leaders, food providers, and more. Teaching, sharing, encouragement, and fellowship abound.

New Ministry
Needs your Help  

A new communications ministry is getting underway, and we are in particular need of graphic designers to help with planning and a video production. Also, volunteers who like to write, facebook, photograph and draw will be needed for all types of fun projects soon. Both teens and adults are encouraged to get involved. If you are feeling led to serve in this area, please contact Becky Easter.
