REACH the World for Jesus
VBS for Friends
You may already have your kids signed up for next week's VBS, but have you invited friends, neighbors, and cousins to come? VBS is one of the best ways to introduce kids and their parents to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Take this weekend to call two families and personally invite them to attend. We can expect the next week to be overflowing with energy, laughter, love, and God sightings, so don't let any of our youth miss out. Register online and e-mail if you would like to help or make a donation.

CONNECT to God's Family
Men: Breakfast & Bible Study Options
Come to the Men's Big Breakfast on Saturday, July 23 at 9 a.m. at the church. There is no charge, and if you can't stay for fellowship, please still come and have breakfast. See Cliff at the booth on Sunday if you have questions.
Also, guys looking to join a men's Bible study are invited to come Tuesday mornings, 7 to 8:30 a.m., to Perkos on Watt in Antelope. This group is currently studying the book of Zechariah. Contact Todd Morgan by e-mail or call (916) 216-7970 with questions about the Bible study.

GROW Spiritually
Learning to Parent
What is the best way to handle a child's bad attitude or resolve a sibling conflict? Each day can bring new parenting challenges, and whether you're a parent, teacher, or sitter, quality advice is precious. For example, read how to wisely discuss anger or watch a clip on teaching honor to your kids. Contact Lovina if you would like to receive regular parenting tips by e-mail.

SERVE to His Glory
Purchase Low-cost Food Boxes
Several churches in Sacramento, Roseville, and Auburn are partnering with the Treasure Box to provide affordable food for families. Through www.thetreasurebox.org, food for a family of 4 for about a week costs $32 (frozen meat, vegetables, fruit, side and dessert). Options for family, senior, and kid-friendly boxes are listed. Place a box order online by July 20 for a July 30 pickup date. Future order deadlines and pickup dates are posted online. If you are looking for a way to help a family that has been hit hard by the economy, spread the word about the Treasure Box or give the gift of a food box.
