This week:
The Purpose of Miracles |
|

Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.
-- Acts 3:6-7

REACH the World for Jesus
Food Pantry in Dire Need
Every week, hungry families come to us seeking help to put food on their tables. We have used all of our supplies and need your donations: dry goods, canned food, and funds are all welcome. Please drop off grocery supplies this Sunday and consider regularly bringing a can or box each month. If you'd like to donate funds, please contact Lisa Alvis, who heads up our food pantry. Help us show God's love and bring more of our neighbors to Christ.

CONNECT to God's Family
He Said ... She Said
Marriage the way God intended it -- that sounds wonderful! Come and improve your relationship with your spouse beginning this Sunday, June 12, at 10:45 (during second service). Rich and Twyla Farley are leading this 12-week class at the church. A $20 fee per couple covers the cost of materials. If you are in need of a scholarship, please send the Farleys an e-mail or come to class and check with them.

GROW Spiritually
Teens Growing Deep at Camp
Our high schoolers are heading to Alliance Redwoods Campground this Sunday (June 12) and will be spending the week playing, praying, and praising. Activities will include ropes courses, swimming, paint balling, skateboarding, guest speakers, and lots of music. Our church family can stay up-to-date on what's happening via our camp blog.
Please pray for safe travel and open hearts for our youth. As soon as the older teens return (June 17), our middle school students will be heading off to camp (June 18) and will need similar prayer. Camp fees are $350 per student. Teens have been fundraising, but there is still a need for some additional donations, so if you're able to contribute, please see Isaac.

SERVE to His Glory
Planning Ahead for VBS
July 18-22, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This is your chance to serve in a life-changing program that will reach more than 100 kids this summer. Psalm 139 is the verse of the week, as kids learn God's word through games, crafts, stories, songs, and even treats.
Here are three easy ways you can help:
- Register kids for this week of fun. The cost is $10 per child, and you can register online.
- Sign up to volunteer. Work is already underway as we put together decorations -- you can help with decor the next two Wednesdays (June 15 & 22) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. To volunteer for VBS week, sign up online.
- Donate supplies. A list of material needs is in the Sunday bulletin and in the lobby. We also need dinner donations for the week of VBS, so watch for signups coming soon.
