A Word From God
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'."Matthew 25:37-40
Dear church family. The above scripture almost screams out to us to help those in need in Haiti. Our NAB association has many churches in the center of the disaster area. Within minutes after the quake first hit, these pastors began helping the most needy. NAB is working very closely with the local Haiti pastors to get aid to the appropriate and urgently needy people. No aid is going for administrative support but is being totally used for the supplies most necessary to help the people. While I fully endorse many agencies collecting aid money I would encourage that your funds be directed through one that can be trusted to get the majority if not all of your donation where it will do the most good. I think our local Haiti pastors and the NAB officials heading up our association aid is one of those agencies. Sunday morning we will take an offering which will be sent to the NAB Haiti relief efforts. Please be in prayer about what you and your family should give. Also be in prayer that God will use our resources to further His love to the hurting people of Haiti and that this help will be seen as God's people showing that love to others. Pastor Frank
